Terms of use and refunds

TRUE VALUE PROPERTY LIMITED compiles information from public and third-party sources. Coverage, currency and completeness vary by property and provider. A report is an information and investigation aid; it is not a registered valuation, LIM, title search, building inspection, legal advice, financial advice or a substitute for professional due diligence.

You must provide accurate account information and keep access to your account secure. You may use a report for your own lawful property research. Do not scrape, resell, republish, reverse engineer or use the service to infringe another person’s rights or disrupt the service.

Reports remain free to read online during the beta. Each downloadable public-data PDF costs NZ$13.99 including GST. The exact price is displayed before payment. Payment is processed by Stripe; True Value does not receive your complete card number.

A purchase applies to the property identified at Checkout and is delivered to your True Value account once Stripe confirms payment. Closing the Checkout page or losing the return redirect does not cancel a confirmed payment; reopen the report or your PDF history to resume delivery.

Contact us if you were charged twice, did not receive the purchased export after a reasonable retry, or received a technically unusable file. We will investigate and, where appropriate, repair delivery or refund the affected purchase to the original payment method. A change of mind after a usable personalised PDF has been delivered does not automatically qualify for a refund.

Nothing in these terms limits rights or remedies that cannot lawfully be excluded, including applicable rights under New Zealand consumer law. Refunds can take time to appear after Stripe and the relevant bank process them. Refunded or disputed purchases may no longer be available for a new download; files already downloaded cannot be recalled.

We aim to keep the service accurate and available but cannot promise uninterrupted access or that every source is current, complete or error-free. Check source dates and confidence labels and obtain professional advice before making a property or financial decision.
